Dayleaf privacy notice

Updated October 31, 2026

Dayleaf is a daily planner operated by Ali Samy at dayleaf.online. This notice explains how the current service handles information when you sign in and plan your day.

Information used by Dayleaf

We store your account identifier and email address. If you use Google sign-in, Google also provides basic profile information, such as your name and profile image. Dayleaf requests sign-in information, not access to your Gmail messages, contacts, calendar, or files. We do not receive your Google password.

Your planner stores task titles, notes, dates, completion or skip status, carry-forward history, and timestamps. If agenda photos are imported into your account, they are stored with that account. Planner backups you import contain the information included in those files.

Why this information is used

We use account information to authenticate you, associate your planner with your account, and synchronize it across devices. Planner content is used to provide the features you choose. Sign-in emails contain a one-time link and code.

Dayleaf records a signed-in account's active days and task actions such as adding, completing, skipping, or carrying tasks. These records include account and task identifiers. The owner's dashboard shows totals and daily counts, rather than task titles, notes, or email addresses. They help us understand usage and maintain the service. The dashboard's 30-day view is not an automatic data-deletion schedule.

Hosting and service providers

Cloudflare hosts the website and processes requests. Supabase provides authentication, the planner database, and private file storage. Resend sends sign-in emails. Google processes Google sign-in if you choose it. These providers process the information necessary to supply their services and may process technical information such as IP addresses, browser information, security events, and diagnostic logs. Data may be processed outside your country; the current Supabase database is in Germany and the configured email sending region is Ireland.

Dayleaf does not include advertising trackers or sell planner data. Authentication emails are configured without open or click tracking. Service providers' own operational and security processing still applies.

Who can access it

Signing in gives you access to the planner associated with your account. Other ordinary users cannot browse your tasks or agenda photos. Authorized service administrators and infrastructure providers may access information when necessary to operate, troubleshoot, or secure the service. This is not an end-to-end encrypted service.

Browser storage

Your browser stores sign-in session information so you can remain signed in, along with preferences such as your theme. Sign out on shared devices. Exported backups are downloaded to the device you use; keep them private.

Retention and your choices

Planner and account information remain stored to support your account; there is no automatic expiry for inactive accounts or task history in the current version. You can edit tasks and export your planner. To request access, correction, or deletion of your account and associated information, contact ali2020samy24@gmail.com from the account's email address. Account deletion is currently handled by the operator rather than an in-app button. Provider backups, security records, and logs may persist according to the providers' retention and legal requirements.
